Armando

Since the age of 7, I knew this was what I wanted to do. As I grew up, I committed to making massage therapy my lifestyle and a way to serve others.

I completed my studies at the Holistic Institute of Massage Arts in Puerto Rico, graduating in 2005

I utilize the techniques I've acquired over my years of experience as a holistic system, aiming to help heal the world one massage at a time.

From 2010 to 2020, I worked as a sports massage therapist for professional-level teams in basketball, baseball, softball, and volleyball, focusing on injury prevention, maintenance, and rehabilitation.

Since 2013, I have worked with national and international athletes in bodybuilding, crossfit, running, and baseball. I have had the opportunity to work with both national and international artists, including Ricky Martin.

In 2009, I began teaching massage therapy classes at the NUC IBC Institute, and in 2012, I became the lead instructor of massage therapy at the institute until 2018.

From 2009 to 2024, I served as a massage therapist for the non-profit organization (Liga Puertorriqueña Contra el Cáncer). Raising funds for the Puerto Rico Oncology Hospital through a charity walk spanning over 100 miles, bringing together the country's top music and television artists to support cancer patients.

In 2020, I became a founding member of the "Asociación de Masaje Latino".

I have participated as a judge, judge coordinator, and consultant in massage championships in-person in Peru (Machu Picchu), Colombia (Bogotá and Medellín), Mexico (Veracruz), and online massage championships in Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Romania, and Mexico. In each country I visited, I had the opportunity to teach various massage techniques and also learn from local therapists, including their ancestral techniques.

Since 2018, I have been the Educational Coordinator for Latin America at AB Wellness International Massage Institute.

Taryn

Taryn Slothour is a Licensed Massage Therapist and graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage, with a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques aimed at improving physical function and overall wellbeing. Her clinical approach focuses on identifying muscular imbalances, addressing chronic pain, and enhancing mobility through evidence-based bodywork.

Taryn specializes in pin and stretch techniques, cupping therapy, and sports stretching, which she integrates into customized treatment plans for each client. Her work supports those dealing with repetitive strain injuries, postural issues, and musculoskeletal dysfunctions.

Originally pursuing a career in nursing, Taryn transitioned to massage therapy to provide hands-on, preventative care that fosters long-term health. Her goal is to deliver measurable results while supporting clients in achieving a balanced and pain-free lifestyle.

Actavia Cardona hails from St. Petersburg, Florida. She earned her A.S. in Massage Therapy from Keiser Career College and obtained her professional massage license in December 2011. Over the years, Actavia has gained diverse experience working in various settings, including spas, wellness centers, and medical offices. She possesses expertise in a wide range of massage modalities, such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Hot Stone, Myofascial Release, Orthopedic, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Cupping, and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization.

Actavia's passion extends beyond massage; she is deeply committed to overall wellness and aromatherapy. She crafts aromatherapy products, allowing people to enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy in their daily routines. As a client-focused massage therapist, Actavia takes a personalized approach to each treatment, tailoring it to individual needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all method.
